After High School, I did some traveling trying to gain what I called at the time " A True To Life Education." From 86 to 90 I literally lived on the streets. My volunteer work in homeless shelters and churches occasionally put a roof over my head, and food in my stomach. I traveled most of the U.S. by jumping trains, and hitching rides with strangers. I met lots of very interesting people.

In 1991 I planted my feet in OKC, Where I reconnected with a friend from high school, Tanya Meyer. Tanya graduated a year ahead of us. We married in 1996 and have one child.

I hope The Class of 86 is as happy and at ease with life and their families, as much as I am with mine.

I received my Undergraduate degree in History from Oklahoma City University in 1990. I received my MD from the University of Oklahoma in 1996 and married Suzanne Alli of OKC two weeks later. We stayed in OKC for the next three years so that I could complete a residency in Internal Medicine. In June 1999, we moved to Birmingham, AL, where I continued my Education and completed my fellowship in Hematology/Oncology in 2002. One week later, my first born son Caden arrived and and then a week after that we moved back to OKC. I am now in a partnership in my own practice based out of OKC. In April 2004, my wife and I welcomed our second son, Ryan and in January 2006 we welcomed our 3rd child Annalise.

I am married to Tami and have 3 kids Parker (boy-11), Presley (girl-7), & Paytan (girl-6). After graduation I got a degree from OU in Philosophy-Ethics and Religion. With such a marketable degree I managed a tennis club and a number of restaurants. I went back to school and got my law degree in 2000 and I am licensed in Oklahoma and New Mexico.  I worked for a bankruptcy trustee in Oklahoma City for a while during and after law school and then moved to El Paso, TX to take a job at a small civil defense firm in Las Cruces, NM. About two and a half years ago I was offered the opportunity to come to work for El Paso Electric Company, a publically traded electric utility (NYSE-EE), as Assistant General Counsel and then a year later the company added the responsibilitiy of Director of Corporate Compliance. I do some travel for work to places like Washington D.C., New York City, Boca Raton, Bermuda, San Francisco and Phoenix. I am a deacon in my church, teach 8th Sunday School, and I am the director of a basketball and cheerleading league there. I enjoy harassing all my Texas friends every second Saturday in October and proudly fly a Sooner flag in front of my house on game days.

UPDATE: I have recently moved back to Norman to take a position with OG&E as Assistant Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer.  My children attend Community Christian School.  Parker (son-14) is in 8th grade and plays percussion in the band.  Presley (daughter-10) is in 5th grade and is quite an artist.  You can look for one of her paintings at the upcoming May Fair.  My youngest, Paytan, (daughter-age 9) is in 3rd grade and loves all animals, but she loves to ride horses.

I look forward to bumping into fellow alums around town.

My roots have remained deep here in Norman because my family is here. I moved away a few times after college, to Texas, California, and Kansas, but always found my way back home. As for my career, I am going on my sixth year working as a pseudo pilot at the FAA in OKC.  I decorate some to keep busy and also to contribute to my passion, traveling! I look forward to visiting with some of you I have often thought about and not seen.
